Mr. Lincoln's Bicentennial Springfield Walk - Using the "Here I Have Lived" historical markers, this 90-minute 10 block walking tour chronicles Lincoln’s life in Springfield before he was President. You’ll hear about his law practice, the Lincoln’s wedding and the Globe Tavern, Ball Alley & billiards, Lincoln’s barber & dentist, election night and his rise in national politics, and his famous farewell from Springfield. There's plenty more anecotal and amusing stories about Lincoln the citizen. Suitable for all ages.

Lincoln's Ghost Walk: Legends & Lore - This 90 minute 12 block walking tour uses   the   Lincoln sites as the backdrop for the ghostly & strange stories about Lincoln's life and his death. History, mystery, séances, sanity & ghosts! This 90-minute tour is heavy on factual history, but plenty of lore as well. Suitable for kids of all ages.(Not scary)

Springfield's Haunted Dead Walk - This old prairie town does have a haunted past, its just that no one ever dare talk about it until now! This 2.5 hour walking tour tells tales of Springfield’s darker side and its haunted history. Based on availability we enter sites believed to be actually haunted and you'll do the investigating!  Not suitable for kids under 12.

R-Rated Springfield - This adult only 90 minute 12 block walking tour chronicles Springfield’s true crime history. Amusing stories of Springfield’s keystone cops & brothel raids, prohibition & speakeasies, race & miner riots, lynching & hangings, the mob, murder and swimming with the fishes, and the St. Valentines Day Massacre connection…take the tour, or else!! Must be over 16 for this tour.

Springfield's 1908 Race Riot Walk - Two entire neighborhoods were burned and destroyed anf left in smoldering ruin by an angry mob of 10,000 seeking vigilante justice. Hundreds of people were wounded, men were shot, other men were lynched in the streets. This 90-minute walking tour walks the path of infamous riot, recounts the tragic history, and commemorates the goodness that came from it. This riot served as the catalyst for the formation of the NAACP celebrating their centennial in 2009. This tour involves mature subject matter and may not be suitable for young kids.

Personal Guide - Hire a personal guide to escort you (up to 14) to the sites. time saving, affordable, concierge style hospitality, receive best eating and shopping information, historical commentary between the sites. This is a great and efficient way to explore all that Lincoln's springfield has to offer! $100 full day, $50 half day.

Step-on Guide - Hire a professional guide to step on board your coach and guide you to the sites on your itinerary with historical commentary between the sites. Guides are efficient, entertaining, and know their history well. They'll be sure to leave your group with a memorable Springfield experience!

Step-on Stories - Hire a Springfield Walks guide to step on board your coach most anywhere downtown and tell stories on topic of your choice for 10,20, or 30 minutes. This service is inexpensive and great for coach groups that don't want to spend a lot of money or have time to take one of our tours. Usually available on a moments notice, call 217.502.8687. Cost: up to 15 minutes $20, up to 30 minutes $30. Available March through October.

Quick Time Stories - Hire a Springfield Walks guide to meet you at your downtown hotel or on the Old Capitol Plaza, Union Square, or most anywhere downtown for a 10-30 minute story telling session on the topic of your choice. Affordable, and adds a nice nuance for your visit to Lincoln's Springfield. This is great for individuals, families, or small groups that don't want to spend a lot of money or have time to take one of our tours. Usually available on a moments notice, call 217.502.8687. Cost: up to 15-minutes for tips, up to 30-minutes $20. Groups above 15 call for pricing. Available March through October.
