Tickets * NO RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED except The Haunted Dead Walk *Tickets can be purchased Springfield Walks HQ 113 N. 6th St. Across the street from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library * Tour tickets can be purchased anytime during open hours and right up to tour times. Tours start on time and we cannot wait for late arrivals. * We do recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time to minimize long lines close to or at tour time. * Cash, or MC/Visa, company checks are accepted forms of payment.
Refunds & Cancellations * Our goal is to keep customers happy. * In the event that a tour is cancelled for whatever reason a refund, partial refund, or rain check can be offered. * Refunds for tours that require paid reservations can only be given a refund unless the original ticket can be resold.
Weather * Tours operate rain or shine, but not in dangerous weather. * We have access to weather radar and know weather conditions right up to tour times. * In the event tours are canceled a refund or rain check can be issued.
Tour Content * The Lincoln’s Ghost Walk is not scary and suitable for kids of all ages. Best Heritage Tourism Award * Springfield’s Dead Walk is not suitable for young kids under 12. * The Weird, True & Scandalous Walk is for adults only, must be over 16. *The 1908 Race Riot Walk involves stories of violence and strong language. Not suitable for younger kids.
Group Tours * 15 or more adults constitute a group and eligible for the group rate of $2 off reg. price. * Larger groups are welcome to join us for scheduled tour times, just please give us a call so we know your coming. * For complete group tour information please visit the Group Tours page. * Our tours and guide services are available most anytime year around.
Parking Downtown * Feed parking meters Monday through Friday 9 - 5. * No need to pay meters after 5pm or on weekends. * Avoid underground parking garage in the evening, it may be closed by end of tours. * Others parking garages are probably ok, but check with their signage or attendant. * Downtown events can sometimes make downtown parking difficult so plan ahead.

Andiamo’s - great personal pizzas, sandwiches, salads, teas, coffees, scones, muffins. Saputo’s - Italian, enough said Sammy’s - Pub food, best burgers in town!! Try a horseshoe, a Springfield must. Jimmy John's - Excellent subs Two Olives & A Pepper - the most unusual sandwich menu in town!
Safety downtown * Downtown is safe, but still use your street smarts. * Panhandling is illegal in Springfield, please do not give money to anyone asking. They use some great sob stories, but it really only feeds their alcohol and drug habits. There are plenty of shelters and food pantries to help the homeless. If you need help step inside any open store and dial 911
